WebApr 28, 2008 · No, the coolant hadn't been changed beforehand. They said the part was covered under a 5yr / 60k mile warranty, but since I had 62k miles (but less than 4 years...), it was no longer covered. He said I could appeal to Toyota, but I have dim hopes of getting them to foot the bill.
