If you don't have them with your file, you can get them either via Plex or downloading a .srt file online and putting the file in the same folder as your movie. I'll see what's going on. WebPlex supports Forced Subtitles files. They're just normal .srt or .ass files marked as forced. The way you describe doing it, you're burning it into the film, i.e. the subtitles are put on top of the video, and you cannot ever disable them because now they are part of the video file.

Either will only have the "foreign" language subtitles and the rest will not have subtitles. When I rip my movies, I always remove any subtitle files that aren't english and forced. Webthe .forced. just means it will forcefully load that subtitle by default at all times. PleX only uses one subtitle stream which I have selected during the playback and doesn't use the forced ones at all. Little confused about this sentence. Plex is supposed to only use the subtitle selected.
